Ringo Starr Announces New Album 'Give More Love,' Shares Title Track

Ringo Starr is set to release a new record Sept. 15.

Ringo Starr's 77th birthday is Friday (July 7), and it seems the former Beatles member couldn't be in a happier, more loving place in his life than right now. To celebrate, he's announced the release of a new album.

Starr revealed the full-length Give More Love is set to arrive Sept. 15 via uME. With the album announcement, he has also shared the title track. Listen below. 

The upcoming album includes a long-awaited new collaboration from Starr and fellow Fab Four member Paul McCartney on a number of tracks and also features Peter Frampton, Benmont Tench, Joe Walsh, Edgar Winter and others. In addition to new songs, Give More Love also includes bonus track new renditions of "Back Off Boogaloo," "Don't Pass Me By," "Photograph" and "You Can't Fight Lightning."

The album's title track is a sincere swaying song from Starr calling on the world to reach out to one another to "Give more love" because "It's what we know we need more of."
