A new music video for 311's "Too Much to Think" -- which follows a group of friends who take a road trip to the desert -- is premiering exclusively on Billboard below.

The video was filmed at Vasquez Rocks, in the Sierra Pelona Mountains outside Los Angeles. The site has been used for a host of films, from Star Trek to Austin Powers.

"'Too Much to Think' is a song about the highs and lows of life -- and seeking an escape from everyday stresses," says Nick Hexum, lead singer/songwriter of 311. "It’s such a magical setting and not surprising that they’ve shot so many iconic movies and TV shows onsite."

Directed by Rich Ragsdale, the video depicts friends having fun as they explore the area, which appears almost otherworldly. However, things take a supernatural turn after they perform an ancient gemstone ritual.

"Too Much to Think" is the lead-off track on 311's new album Mosaic, which is out June 23 on BMG. Watch the mystical video for the song below.
