The video was shot at an abandoned Long Island psychiatric hospital.

City of the Sun go wandering in the countryside in the genre-bending New York trio's new "Sugar" video, which is premiering exclusively with Billboard

In the Kïa Tavernier-directed clip bandmates John Pita, Avi Snow and Zach Para roam around a now-closed psychiatric center on Long Island exploring the blighted building and nature's marvels around.

"We shot this video at the abandoned Kings Park Psychiatric Center on Long Island -- it has been closed down for decades. I used to go there all the time when I was in high school," Pita tells Billboard

The visuals perfectly match the mood of the band's instrumental single, which emotes a sense of wonder and psychedelia, employing organic-feeling special effects that distorts the footage as the guys cause a bit of mischief with smoke bombs and spray paint.
