Punk-rock vets Blink-182 released a new single “Wildfire” on Thursday (May 11) -- just eight days before the scheduled release of the deluxe edition of their album California, out May 19.

The band posted a lyric video for their new single on their website with the caption “Think of your favorite song from Enema of the State. Now think of your favorite song from California. Now imagine them falling in love and starting a family of their own. That’s what this song is.”

With electric guitar riffs reminiscent of their previous albums, Blink-182's “Wildfire” also boasts nostalgic lyrics like, “I don’t want to grow up/ Don’t want to end up caught in a landslide,” and “Don’t tell me it’s too late/ I’m stuck at heaven’s gate.”
