Watch Metallica Rehearse for Tour Kickoff Live

The band will perform four songs and showcase new production elements of their WorldWired tour.

Metallica will give fans a sneak peek at the North American leg of their WorldWired tour with a full scale rehearsal performance broadcast via Facebook Live on Tuesday (May 9) beginning at 9 p.m. EST. 

The rehearsal will take place from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore ahead of the band's show there on Wednesday that will kick off the eighth leg of the tour, which spans until Aug. 16 at the Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Canada. From there, Metallica's WorldWired tour will head to Europe in September for its final leg that spans into 2018. 

The live rehearsal special is being called "Now That We're Live" will feature the band performing four songs in their entirety, including Metallica's current single "Now That We're Dead" and will showcase the tour's new production elements. It will also include an opportunity for fans to donate to Metallica's All Within My Hands Foundation, which supports a variety of charities.
