Muse have lined up an increasingly robust list of summer festival dates in the U.S. and now it appears fans at those shows might be treated to new music from the band's in-process eighth album. The trio unveiled a cryptic teaser of a video shoot on Monday (May 8) that suggests fresh tunes are on the way. While there's no actual music in the nine-second clip, it clearly takes place on a video shoot where the group looks to be in costume for some kind of futuristic scenario. It ends with the tease "coming soon."

Not much is known about the follow-up to 2015's Drones album, but the group has been holed up in a Los Angeles practice space this week rehearsing for the upcoming shows.
