Damon Albarn and Paul Simonon of The Gorillaz perform as part of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at the Empire Polo Fields on April 18, 2010 in Indio, Calif.

Gorillaz are prepping their live return with a headlining festival in Kent, England, on June 10 with a full lineup of support acts to be named soon. The animated band, fronted by Blur's Damon Albarn and animator Jamie Hewlett, have been toiling away on the group's new album for more than two years and the gig at the Dreamland amusement park in Margate represents their first full comeback show since performing "Clint Eastwood" at the Fader Fort and Bonnaroo in 2014.

The show will also be their first UK gig since a 2010 show as part of their Plastic Beach World Tour; tickets are available here and will include free admission to the amusement park.

In January, the group dropped the anti-Trump tune "Hallelujah Money," marking their first new song in six years. The song features haunting vocals from 2015 Mercury Prize winning English multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Clementine.
