An HBO special chronicling the 2015 Bataclan attack is on the way, and a sampling of Eagles of Death Metal’s emotional interview arrived Friday (Jan. 13) in a brand-new trailer.

The Colin Hanks-directed film is titled Nos Amis -- French for “our friends” -- and appropriately, it delves into the tear-jerking camaraderie of EODM frontman Jesse Hughes and EODM collaborator/Queens of the Stone Age leader Josh Homme. There’s also input from the survivors of the horrific event, as the film features footage from both the Nov. 13 attack and the band’s first full show after, a Feb. 16, 2016, gig at the Olympia in Paris.

“Everyone’s face was looking at me,” Hughes says, battling tears. “I saw fear take a hold of everyone in that theater.” The trailer also features a surprise appearance from Bono, as U2 brought EODM onstage for its first performance after the shooting, back on Dec. 7, 2015.

Eagles of Death Metal: Nos Amis (Our Friends) will premiere on HBO on Feb. 13 at 10 p.m. Check out the trailer below:

In other, happier Eagles of Death Metal news, it appears the rockers have some sort of collaboration in the works with none other than Kesha. Earlier Friday, she shared an image announcing what appears to be a joint session at Los Angeles’ NRG Recording Studios. What do they have in store? Billboard has reached out to a rep for Eagles of Death Metal for more details.
