Sky Ferreira performs at The Theatre at Ace Hotel on Aug. 7, 2015 in Los Angeles.

After helming the acclaimed Beyonce visual album Lemonade, Jonas Akerlund will direct the rock film Lord of Chaos -- based off the 1998 book of the same name -- and will center on the career of the band Mayhem, who pioneered Norwegian Black Metal. Along with actors Rory Culkin and Emory Cohen, Akerlund has cast singer Sky Ferreria to help bring the story to the big screen.

The underground pop artist already holds a few acting roles under her belt, like the fanatsy-thriller The Green Inferno and the 2016-released The Trust. Although no word has surfaced on who she'll be playing, Ferreria is already preparing to star in another film titled Baby Driver, alongside Ansel Elgort and R&B singer Jamie Foxx, slated for a 2017 release.

According to Deadline, Vice Films and 20th Century Fox are among the many partners making the Akerlund-directed film.
