Jimmy Eat World Premieres Gorgeous 'Sure and Certain' Acoustic Video

In less than two weeks, Jimmy Eat World will release its brand new studio album Integrity Blues. The Arizona rockers have already shared a few tunes off it, including the barreling, resistant “Get Right” and the luminous, uplifting “Sure and Certain.” On Monday morning (Oct. 10) they premiered an acoustic performance of the latter -- a showcase for the band’s spot-on vocal and guitar harmonics.

Temperatures are dropping (even in Arizona) so it’s a good time to hear frontman Jim Adkins sound like the vocal equivalent of a sweater-clad hug during the holidays. Guitarist Tom Linton fills in the duet on vocals and guitar, with drummer Zach Lind adding some subtle percussion. Check out the video below.

“Sure and Certain” -- the album version -- is off to a promising start commercially. It currently sits at No. 16 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart (its highest position in five weeks there), already topping the singles from their last album, 2013’s Damage
