"I hope you understand that to scandalize was never my plan/ Reminiscing I was flowing, I was hanging with my good friend Andy Cohen."

When some celebrities get called out for talking about others in the press, they're quick to apologize. Not Melissa Etheridge, though. She writes a song about it.

After Etheridge appeared on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM radio show Radio Andy on Monday and commented on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce, she was contacted by someone from Jolie's camp.

Etheridge had been friends with Pitt in the past and told Cohen then, "It breaks my heart that anyone would take something as personal as your marriage and your relationship and your rights to your children and do it as purposefully as I see it's being done.... There's a way to be. I've gone through family courts."

A crisis manager for Jolie contacted her about it afterwards that had her inspired to respond by doing what she does best and wrote a song about it.

On Bravo's Watch What Happens Live Wednesday night Etheridge joined Cohen again to discuss the incident and perform the new tune, much to Cohen and guest Kelly Clarkson's excitement.

One choice segment of the song goes, "Fixer, I hope you understand that to scandalize was never my plan/ Reminiscing I was flowing, I was hanging with my good friend Andy Cohen/ Talking about our spouses in our own glass houses."
