Hear Unearthed 1997 Demo From Oasis' 'Be Here Now' (And a Brand New Gallagher Brothers Diss)
While an Oasis reunion isn’t on the horizon, the band’s many devotees have had plenty of Gallagher brothers-related news to process lately. On Oct. 10 Oasis will reissue its opulent 1997 album Be Here Now and on Friday (Sept. 23) it shared a sampling of a bonus track.
It’s an old demo from the Be Here Now sessions called “Going Nowhere.” In truly retro fashion, Oasis isn’t giving it to us as a lyric video or a streaming exclusive, but as a direct download. You can grab the track over here.
And what would a bit of Oasis news be without some mudslinging between the Gallagher brothers? Earlier in the day, singer Liam Gallagher took to Twitter to call out his brother for allegedly not doing press nor attending the premiere of the forthcoming Oasis doc Supersonic. He likened him to the late Scottish comedian Ronnie Corbett and then called him a couple expletives. Fun times!
So the Ronnie Corbett of rock n roll aka Noel Gallagher not doing press not attending premiere for oasis film 2 words SHIT BAG LG x— Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher) September 23, 2016

If the Gallagher brothers were just sparring with each other to stir up attention for their various projects, then, well, their strategy isn't exactly failing.
