"You acted like you bought me at a bargain sale, you don't even care/ you focused your frustration on a small detail" the "Side to Side" songstress belted as The Roots and Jason Robert Brown played with fervor behind the singer. Brown originally composed the Broadway inspired "Jason's Song (Gave It Away)" before passing it along to Grande and also mentored the pop princess when she was apart of his Broadway production 13: The Musical. Shortly after the performance, the 23-year-old singer thanked her mentor saying "That was my favorite performance i've ever done i think. thanks @MrJasonRBrown for using my voice the way it's meant to be heard. love you."
