Those Red Hot Chili Peppers, you guys. Their new music video features frontman Anthony Kiedis re-creating a bunch of scenes from Saturday Night Fever as a sort of mime-like, bowler-hatted outsider who’s covered in white paint and basically naked -- except for a codpiece.

The Tota Lee-directed video is for RHCP’s Getaway track “Go Robot.” It features lines like “Robots are my next of kin” and muses about how humans who’ve separated emotion from all the sex they have are kind of like robots.

How does that relate to Kiedis in full-body whiteface getting down on the disco floor? You’ll have to watch the video -- which premiered exclusively on the band's Facebook page Thursday (Sept. 8) -- and see for yourself:

Previously in this album cycle, the Chili Peppers gave us a video for lead single “Dark Necessities,” which featured the guys trying to keep up with a crew of female longboarders.
