Elizabeth Banks delivers remarks on day two of the 2016 Democratic National Convention at Wells Fargo Center on July 26, 2016 in Philadelphia.

Donald Trump keeps using Queen’s “We Are the Champions" during his campaign, despite the band's repeated objections. So at the Democratic National Convention last night (July 26), guest speaker Elizabeth Banks took a page out of the Donald's book.

The actress strutted to the podium with an oafish, off-time slow clap, mocking Trump’s entrance at Cleveland’s RNC last week. It was the first of many good looks from Banks at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo center last night, and it certainly set the tone for an evening of pop culture savvy Trump-teasing.

For instance, there was this gem from her speech just after the Trump walk:

“Some of you know me from The Hunger Games, in which I play Effie Trinket, a cruel, out of touch really TV star who wears insane wigs while delivering long-winded speeches to a violent dystopia. So when I tuned into Cleveland last week I was like, ‘Hey, that’s my act!’”

Banks also nodded to her Pitch Perfect role by taking part in a celebrity-sanctioned DNC version of Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song.”

After Trump used “We Are the Champions” during the RNC’s opening night (July 18) Queen fired back, calling it an “unauthorized use” against its wishes. Queen's publishing company, Sony/ATV Music Publishing chimed in saying, “We are frustrated by the repeated unauthorized use of the song after a previous request to desist, which has obviously been ignored by Mr. Trump and his campaign.”
