Bob Dylan celebrates his birthday today (May 24), and it's a milestone for the singer-songwriter: His 75th.

There's no need to restate Bob Dylan's influence -- he's the greatest songwriter of the rock era and his impact extends well beyond music. It's no exaggeration to say he helped shape American culture as a whole for the second half of the 20th century.
