Thom Yorke of Radiohead performs on stage during a concert at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam on May 20, 2016.

Over the weekend, Radiohead played its first live shows since releasing A Moon Shaped Pool earlier this month. Naturally, Thom Yorke and company worked the widely-acclaimed new LP into their set list for a pair of gigs at Amsterdam’s Heineken Music Hall.

According to Setlist.fm, the band varied its song choices greatly between the two shows, though they both opened the same way. On both May 20 and 21, Radiohead led off with “Burn the Witch,” followed by four more Moon tracks: “Daydreaming,” “Decks Dark,” “Desert Island Disk” and “Ful Stop.” For the first three, the Amsterdam performances marked the first time they’d ever been played live.

Even if you’ve given the new album a lot of spins, your ears are going to have a lot of new material to sift through. As Spin points out, this live incarnation of Radiohead did not include a string section, so Moon Shaped Pool’s string-heavy songs had to be adapted for guitar and bass.

Both Friday and Saturday night’s sets included 24 tracks, though curiously, neither included fan favorite “True Love Waits,” which lived for over a decade as a live-only track before making it onto the 2016 album.
