Elliott Smith Tribute Album to Include Waxahatchee, Yuck, J Mascis & More

Lou Barlow, Julien Baker and Tanya Donelly (of the Breeders and Belly) are also involved.

Waxahatchee, Yuck, J Mascis, Jesu/Sun Kil Moon, Amanda Palmer and others will appear on a new Elliott Smith tribute album called Say Yes! A Tribute to Elliott Smith, due out Oct. 14 via American Laundromat.

The set will hold 14 previously unheard covers also recorded by Lou Barlow (of Dinosaur Jr. and Sebadoh), Julien Baker, Tanya Donelly (of the Breeders and Belly), Adam Franklin (of Swervedrive), William FitzsimmonsWild Sun, Tomo Nakayama, Caroline Says and Escondido. Juliana Hatfield's cover of "Needle in the Hay" that originally appeared on the 2014 compilation I Saved Latin! A Tribute to Wes Anderson will be included as well.
