Blondie, Mumford & Sons, Bette Midler & More Added to New York David Bowie Tribute Shows

The star-studded sold-out David Bowie tribute-turned memorial in New York City keeps growing. After expanding from a one-off at Carnegie Hall to a second night at Radio City Music Hall with a number of new performers added to the bill, the March 31 and April 1 events have now announced even more artists for each show. 

David Bowie Tribute Concert Gets Second Date After First Sells Out

Debbie Harry will now be performing a solo set at March 31's Carnegie Hall concert, as well as a set with her Blondie bandmates at the April 1 Radio City Music Hall show. Both nights are set to include Mumford and Sons, Bette Midler and the Pixies, Consequence of Sound reports. The Donny McCaslin Group (with Mark Guiliana, Jason Lindner and Tony Visconti) will also appear both nights, after collaborating with Bowie on his final album, ? (Blackstar), released days before his death.

Further additions to the lineups include Heart's Nancy Wilson joining her previously announced sister and former bandmate Ann Wilson at both shows. And Michael Stipe of R.E.M. will join the Radio City concert after previously being announced for only the Carnegie Hall performance. 

The newcomers join Cat Power, Perry Farrell, Polyphonic Spree, the Roots and others on the bills, with more additions expected to come.
