Stephen Malkmus Is Scoring Will Arnett's New Netflix Series 'Flaked'

Will Arnett is starring in a new Netflix original series and if you’re into indie rock soundtracks, you’re in luck.

Former Pavement frontman Stephen Malkmus will score Flaked, according to a tweet from Arnett. The rom-commy series is set to hit Netflix on March 11. According to the same tweet, the soundtrack will also feature music from Local Natives, El Vy, Youth Lagoon, Junip, Hinds and S. Carey.

Flaked stars Arnett as a furniture maker who moves to Venice, California to overcome alcoholism, while trying to make new friends and relationships work out. Check out a trailer for the show below:

As for Malkmus, his last album with his band the Jicks’ was 2014’s Matador release Wig Out at Jagbags.
