David Bowie's Son Duncan Jones Is Going to Be a Father
About a month since David Bowie’s death, some very positive news has been announced by the legendary singer’s family. Bowie’s son Duncan Jones and his wife Rodene are expecting a child.
The 44-year old filmmaker broke the news yesterday (Feb. 10) via Twitter, and Rodene chimed in as well. The baby is due in June.
Shame on those of you who just thought I was really fat and didn't say anything. HAHA. ;) pic.twitter.com/OtTF2wPrPk— rodene jones (@rodeneronquillo) February 10, 2016
This is the couple’s first child together. They got married in Nov. 2012, shortly after Rodene was diagnosed with breast cancer. After treatment, she reported the following year she had been given an “all clear” report from doctors.
On Twitter, Duncan likes to post the faces of famous directors onto photos of babies, and he joked that he’ll now have his own model to use:
& the best news, if you've been a fan of my "directors as babies", I'll now have access to my own, poseable model! pic.twitter.com/DV60OQk1bz— Duncan Jones (@ManMadeMoon) February 10, 2016
