But there's no word whether rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin and drummer Steven Adler will join to fill out the band's classic lineup.

Guns N' Roses has confirmed its upcoming reunion performances at Coachella with members of the band's classic lineup Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan. But some former members are still noticeably absent from the billing.

Word follows the release of Coachella's official lineup Monday with an official press release announcing Rose, Slash and McKagan's regrouping.

Notably, the statement does not name all five members of the iconic hard rock band's classic lineup, as signed to Geffen Records in 1986, leaving it unclear whether rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin and drummer Steven Adler will join Guns N' Roses for the shows, or who will fill those slots otherwise. Adler was the first of the classic lineup to leave the band, in 1990, and then Stradlin left the following year.

Guns N' Roses will perform Saturday night at both weekends of the Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., set for April 15-17 and April 22-24. This will be the first time the Rose-Slash-McKagen trio will perform together since July 17, 1993 at River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires.
