Bad Brains Guitarist Dr. Know Is No Longer in Critical Condition

Tuesday (Nov 10, good news broke from the camp of D.C. punk pioneers Bad Brains. Guitarist Gary “Dr. Know” Miller is no longer in critical condition, following a bout with an undisclosed illness.

“He still remains under close care and watch of doctors at this time so please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers,” the band reminded fans via its official Facebook page. “We continue to ask that you honor our privacy during this time.”

 

On Nov. 3, Bad Brains announced that Dr. Know was hospitalized and on life support, following previous reports from other musicians about his condition.

"The Bad Brains family ask that you please keep Gary (Dr. Know) Miller in your thoughts and prayers," the band said via Facebook. 

It seems those thoughts and prayers helped, as the 57-year-old guitarist appears to be on the road to recovery.
