“Why do I always hurt myself?” That’s the question 5 Seconds of Summer guitarist Michael Clifford tweeted after the Australian band’s performance at the Radio 1 Teen Awards in London on Sunday (Nov. 8).

After the performance, Clifford, who’s had past injuries during concerts, joked to Radio 1 about what may have caused the stumble. "I was looking at Rita Ora and I was like... hey and I fell,” he said.

Back in June, the 5SOS guitarist’s hair caught on fire while playing the SSE Arena in London. After the show, Clifford tweeted a photo of his bandaged face and apologized for not being able to finish the show.

In addition to 5SOS, the Radio 1 Teen Awards also featured performances by Little Mix, Nick Jonas, All Time Low and Demi Lovato, The Mirror reports. Justin Bieber also made a surprise appearance, singing “Where Are U Now,” “Boyfriend” and “What Do You Mean?”

One Direction took home the award for best British group and Ed Sheeran was honored with best British solo artist.
