Jay Blakesberg
Trey Anastasio, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzman, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Jeff Chimenti and Bruce Hornsby of The Grateful Dead perform during the 'Fare Thee Well, A Tribute To The Grateful Dead' on July 4, 2015 in Chicago.

A bounty of footage from the Grateful Dead’s July 2015 residency at Chicago’s Soldier Field will be captured in a selection of forthcoming box sets. Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead is due Nov. 20, but the official track listing arrived today (Oct. 15).

We said sets -- not set -- so the Fare the Well collections get a little complicated. They’re all culled from the Dead’s final three Chicago shows, bit they’re available in a variety of formats and lengths, depending on your level of Dead dedication.

For retail, footage from the July 5 show will be turned into one option, available in three-CD/two Blu-ray, three/CD-DVD, and two Blu-Ray or two-DVD set. More simply, a “Best Of” edition will feature two CDs worth of highlights from the final three Chicago shows -- July 3,4, and 5. All of these will also be available digitally.

Two other sets will be exclusives. There’s a 12-CD/Blu-ray and a 12-CD-DVD combo, both limited to 20,000 copies, respectively. Directed by the Dead’s Bill Kreutzmann's son, Jason, these will also include a bonus disc of behind-the-scenes footage.

The trio of July 2015 50th anniversary shows featured original members Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann, along with Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio filling in for the late Jerry Garcia on guitar and vocals. The three Chicago Grateful Dead 2015 concerts grossed $30.7 million from a Soldier Field record attendance of 210,283.
