In an exclusive video premiere with Billboard, South Carolina rock band NEEDTOBREATHE shares an acoustic rendition of their single "Brother" featuring Gavin DeGraw, and a "Behind the Song" video about it.

With collaborator and "I Don't Want to Be" singer Gavin DeGraw, the boys performed their heartfelt track at NYC's Chelsea Waterfront Pier. The song title is fitting for brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart of NEEDTOBREATHE, whose "Behind the Song" video confess that the track "came out of a pretty dark place for the band." "Brother," however, is anything but.

As the videos attest, the Rinehart's bond shines through everything from the song's warm energy to their improvised performance. "We had never performed the song together as a group, so we grabbed a few guitars and some percussion, headed down to the water, and just hit record," says band member Josh Lovelace. "Brother," like the story behind it, nods to the home-like resonance of family and the stories they entail -- from fraternal competition to great friendship and all in between.
