Alt-j is one of the top festival acts in the alternative music game, and for a new feature-length film, fans can catch a one-of-a-kind live intimate show.

Out Sept. 2, Artists Den Presents alt-J will premiere in over 400 theaters across the United States’ biggest markets. The joint presentation of the titular the television/digital music series and Fathom Events is the first collaboration of its kind, and features an 80-minute alt-j concert filmed for just 600 fans at the Hollywood American Legion in Los Angeles.

Tickets are available through Fathom Events’ official website and participating box offices. To check the locations of all theaters showing the film, click here

The film also includes exclusive interview footage with the band.

“It’s quite a historic room, a really beautiful room with a huge ceiling,” keyboardist-vocalist Gus Unger-Hamilton says in the film. “I don’t think the size of the room normally affects the set list, but I think there’s a different kind of rapport with the crowd. You can feel it’s more personal.”
Frontman Joe Newman added, “You just know that crowds are really kind of hungry, and they’re just going to eat it up.”
