Gaslight Anthem 'Taking a Break' After Tour

The Gaslight Anthem will be taking a break following its European tour in August, the New Jersey rock band's members announced Wednesday.

Brian Fallon, Alex Rosamilia, Alex Levine and Benny Horowitz posted the news to Facebook, telling fans they intend to do other projects in and out of music and are looking to step away from the group to "recharge," rather than "going right back to making a record just for the sake of making the next record."

The band's members already have some musical side projects we know about: Frontman Fallon is also a member of the duo The Horrible Crowes and the Americana/folk group Molly and the Zombies. And Lead guitarist Rosamilia is in a heavy metal band called Servitude, which is supposed to release an EP later this year on Rosamilia’s own Human Blood Records.
