Benjamin Burnley of Breaking Benjamin performs at day 3 of Rocklahoma 2015 on May 24, 2015 in Pryor, Oklahoma.

Hard rock band joins Yngwie Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde, Flyleaf and others on Feb. 2016 cruise.

It was announced today that Breaking Benjamin -- whose new album Dark Before Dawn is currently No. 1 on the Billboard 200 thanks to sales of 141,000 album equivalent units -- is headlining the inaugural Axes & Anchors music cruise.

How Did Breaking Benjamin Sell So Many Albums?

It is the first time the platinum-selling hard rock band will perform on a music cruise. The group will play two live sets, host a Q&A session and participate in a meet-and-greet, along with other activities.

“Breaking Benjamin is the perfect headliner for our festival that already includes Flyleaf, Motionless in White, Thousand Foot Krutch, Zakk Wylde, Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Schenker and several other notable artists and bands,” says Axes & Anchors co-owner Ann Squire.  “Our lineup lives up to our promise -- the first ever guitar-dominated music cruise -- and is diverse enough to give [something] for everyone.”

Breaking Benjamin Earns First No. 1 Album on Billboard 200

In addition to such activities as comedy, theater and live concerts, Axes & Anchors encourages fans to bring their guitars so they can take private music lessons with their idols and participate in free workshops on a range of topics, such as performance and concert photography. The Carnival Victory will host the cruise. The ship will depart from Miami on Feb. 20, 2016 and sail to Key West and Nassau, Bahamas, before returning Feb. 24.

Cabins are available at the Axes & Anchors website. Current promotions include a $150 per-person rebate when a reservation is paid in full, and the Stowaway Package, which permits a third and fourth passenger who are under 21 to cruise for free in a cabin when accompanied by two passengers older than 25.
