Noel Gallagher performs with Noel Gallagher's Flying Birds at Clapham Common on July 4, 2015 in London, England.

Also, he opened his NME video interview with a deadmau5 diss.

When Jay Z was named Glastonbury headliner in 2008, Noel Gallagher suggested a hip-hop act shouldn't have topped the bill. Kanye West headlined the mammoth British fest last month, and the Oasis guitarist actually admitted to enjoying it -- for 30 minutes, at least.

Check out the interview with NME below:

"For 30 minutes, I thought, 'Wow, this is f---ing truly amazing.' And then, like most hip-hop gigs, after 45 minutes…" Gallagher broke into a slow hand clap. "Want something else now."

Well, he went from completely rejecting the genre seven years ago to admitting to enjoying it for a half-hour. Progress!

All this comes after a pre-fest petition demanded West's removal in favor of a more "rock act" and the actual performance being interrupted by a corny comedian who claimed to be acting on the petition's behalf.

Aside from the "most hip-hop gigs" line, Gallagher also threw some random shade at deadmau5. He opens the video with, "Hello, this is deadmau5 without the stupid fucking hat."
