Even frontmen of legendary metal bands get to have heartwarming father-daughter moments. Sprinkle in a little Adele, and you've got prime material for the family photo album, or in this case, family YouTube playlist.

Metallica's James Hetfield covered Adele's "Crazy For You" with his 16-year old daughter Cali at the Acoustic-4-A-Cure benefit concert in San Francisco on May 15. Check out the video below to watch Hetfield welcome his daughter onstage and play acoustic guitar to back her soulful vocal showing.

Not only was it a great performance, but the Hetfields were cool enough to go with a deeper Adele cut (from her debut album 19) rather than going for the obvious. Impressive indeed.

The second annual Acoustic-4-A-Cure show was organized by Hetfield and Sammy Hagar. It raised funds and awareness for the Pediatric Cancer Program at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.

Let this be a reminder -- Father's Day is just around the corner! (It's June 21).
