He goes on to give new listeners a musical starting point for King's extensive work: "Go out and find and album called B.B. King: Live at the Regal, which is where it really started for me as a young player."

After decades of performing together, Clapton and King first recorded a collaboration for B.B.'s 1997 album Deuces Wild. Three years later, they made a whole blues-rock album together called Riding with the King.
