Julian Casablancas + The Voidz Release Teaser for Epic 'Human Sadness' Video

It might be eight months since Julian Casablancas and his new band The Voidz released their debut Tyranny, but considering the undertaking of filming a video to the album's 11-minute centerpiece "Human Sadness" it's understandable why a visual accompaniment has not come sooner.

Alas, it's on its way now. As the Strokes frontman announced the news with a teaser clip Wednesday that a full video would follow on May 27. The whole thing took six months and three directors, Noisey reports, setting expectations high.

It's not just the length of "Human Sadness" that makes this all an impressive feat, but its the extreme content too. The song is just massive in its scope. That's all to say, this should be interesting.
