Watch the War on Drugs Take Their Springsteen-y Guitar-Synth Epics to 'Kimmel'
The War on Drugs' Lost in the Dream was one of 2014's most critically acclaimed rock records. The LP has been out over a year, but thankfully, the hour-long masterpiece is still making its promotional rounds. Fresh off a Coachella performance, the Philadelphia-based band stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform a pair of tracks.
First, watch them perform album opener "Under the Pressure." It's an abridged version of the nine-minute track, but the War on Drugs still found ways to add to the neo-Springsteen jam. How about that shredding after the refrains! If you sedated and slowed down the BPM of "Dancing in the Dark" and added in 21st century studio techniques, you'd get something like this.

After playing Coachella's second weekend on April 18, the War on Drugs will remain on tour throughout most of the summer, hitting other fests like Governors Ball and Sasquatch.
