Billie Eilish Checks Off Bucket List Items on 'Kimmel': Punches Jimmy, Gets Booted From a Target

She also performed "Happier Than Ever" on Wednesday night (Oct. 13).

Billie Eilish had a blast on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night (Oct. 13), where she checked a few very important items off her childhood bucket list, got sweet, sweet punchy revenge on the host and performed the title track off her new album, Happier Than Ever.

On the day that former Star Trek star William Shatner became the oldest person to be blasted into space, Eilish told Kimmel that she would "literally rather do anything else" than leave the confines of Mother Earth. "No interest," she said, recalling that her mother once shared a very random email from a friend's mom who asked if Billie would ever want to go into space and sing. Hard no. "Why would you ask me that?"

Eilish also revealed a super interesting tidbit about her Grammy-winning song from the final Daniel Craig James Bond Movie, No Time To Die, telling Kimmel that long before she and brother/producer Finneas got the honor they used to have a very interesting Bond-related songwriting challenge.

"I knew all of them because I've loved Bond since forever and so has my entire family," the singer said of her deep knowledge of the storied history of the movies and Bond themes from the likes of Adele, Paul McCartney, Carly Simon and many more. "Years before the Bond song, our song was going to be anything... was even a topic of discussion for us we would do it as a songwriting exercise, me and my brother," she said of their challenge to write something that felt "Bond-esque."

She also said that after making a pair of documentaries she's very interested in film and would love to dive deeper. "I want to do something in the world of it," said the veteran of Billie Eilish: The World's A Little Blurry and Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles. "I just love... cinematography is just something I really admire. I wouldn't necessarily want to act, but if something came along that felt right, yeah... who knows?"

Kimmel pulled a photocopy of a page from Eilish's book and ran down the list of items from her childhood bucket list, which included meeting idol Justin Bieber (check), getting kicked out of a Target, zip lining over a city (check), growing her hair down past her butt, getting her hair done (check), punching someone, getting a mouse, riding a dolphin, cutting someone's hair, "to win the game" (check), working with animals (check), going to Paris (check) and a big shopping spree (check).

All in all, she's actually done pretty well with it, so Kimmel tried to help her check a few more items off by inviting a superfan from the audience named Griselda onto the stage to get some admittedly terrible bangs from Billie. He also allowed the singer to get some justice for that time he teased her about not knowing anything about Van Halen by letting her sock him in the stomach.

With the gift of an adorable mouse she named "Marcus" and a fake ejection from an imaginary Target store, Kimmel pretty much made her wishes come true. Eilish returned later to perform "Happier Than Ever" on the roof of Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel, joined by Finneas on acoustic guitar for the first part and electric for the song's revved-up end-run.
