Lil Nas X's Montero has been out for less than a week, but fans have questions about it, so the rapper took Twitter on Tuesday (Sept. 21) to dish. In the revealing Q&A session, Lil Nas shared that he initially hoped for several more collaborations to be on the album -- including Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj.

When a fan enquired if Lil Nas would ever work on a track with the "Rain on Me" singer, the rapper replied, "yes I actually wanted a song with her on the album but I never finished writing to it & sending it to her."

Another fan asked Lil Nas which song he sent to Minaj for her to feature on. Turns out it was none other than "Industry Baby," which features Jack Harlow and reached the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. In a Sept. 16 interview with The Breakfast Club, Lil Nas said he received "no reply from Nicki" about working on a track together.

The 22-year-old rapper also told fans that "Scoop" almost didn't feature Doja Cat. Addressing the topic of why he has yet to work with Black male rappers, Lil Nas said, "Ski Mask was almost on scoop but we had to turn it in before he could finish other than that a lot of them just don’t fwm tbh."

Lil Nas also revealed that he's planning to drop "Empathy" -- a currently unreleased collaboration between him and Sam Smith -- later in the year, "most likely" with a music video.

Though Montero features notable collabs -- even if he missed out on a few he was hoping for -- Lil Nas revealed whether he has plans to return the favor and feature on another artist's song. The rapper explained that he hasn't appeared as a feature on anyone's songs yet simply because he hasn't "found the right song yet... i want it to feel like a moment."
