Rina Sawayama has long been a fan of Lady Gaga -- and now, there's a chance they might become co-workers.

In a set of tweets posted Sunday, Bloodpop -- the lead producer of Gaga's last studio album Chromatica -- teased that the "Rain on Me" singer may be releasing some new versions of songs from the 2020 album. "In theory - which artists would y’all want to see on a Chromatica remix album (and on what song)," Bloodpop tweeted, followed by a series of emojis.

Eight minutes later, the producer followed up his tweet by potentially teasing one such artist who might make the cut, writing "CC @rinasawayama." Sawayama, for her part, took a screenshot of the exchange and posted it on her Twitter, tagging Bloodpop and adding a smirking emoji.

This would not be the first team-up between Bloodpop and Sawayama: The pair first worked together on "Lucid," a single from the British pop sensation released shortly after the release of her critically acclaimed album Sawayama in early 2020. "BloodPop sent us the beat, and the melody flowed out so easily that I remember at one point I started hoovering 'cos I knew this would be easy to write lol," Sawayama wrote in a statement released with the song at the time.

Sawayama isn't the only star Bloodpop teased for a Chromatica remix. Responding to a tweet asking for a Charli XCX remix of "911," Bloodpop wrote, "Working on it." The producer also responded positively to fan suggestions like Bree Runway, Bad Bunny, Dorian Electra, Doss and a few others.

Representatives for Bloodpop, Rina Sawayama and Lady Gaga did not respond to requests for comment at press time. Check out the tweets below:
