Jennifer Lopez (C) with daughter Emme (R) and son Max attend the premiere of Twentieth Century Fox And Dreamworks Animation's "HOME" at Regency Village Theatre on March 22, 2015 in Westwood, California.

"OMG!! I can't believe it's been 13 years since I carried them both home in my arms in the middle of a snowstorm," she wrote on Monday (Feb. 22).

Jennifer Lopez paid homage to her 13-year-old twins on Monday (Feb. 22), celebrating Emme and Max's birthday by bringing them breakfast in bed. "My beautiful babies are teenagers today!!" Lopez wrote on Instagram on Monday (Feb. 22) about her children with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Dressed in a robe and singing "good morning!" to the twins, Lopez hands the kids birthday cards and covers them in kisses as she appears to get emotional watching them read her b-day messages. "OMG!! I can’t believe it’s been 13 years since I carried them both home in my arms in the middle of a snowstorm," she wrote in the caption.

"Out of that blizzard came two perfect lil’ coconuts who rearranged my life and taught me the true meaning of love. It has been the most magical journey full of adventure and joy ever since... I’m feeling so many emotions this morning...so very emotional today... so proud and happy and heartbroken that I can’t feeeze time. To my two caring, sensitive and special souls...who I know will change and rearrange the world in your own very unique ways...your mama loves you beyond forever.. and ever and ever."

She also posted a short film with footage of the kids from over the years set to her moving ballad "One Step at a Time," which she said she wrote when the twins were six weeks old. "Max was already trying to curl up and get out of his chair... I was like 'where are you going lil one? Where are you running off to?,'" she wrote. "All I could think was before I know it they will be running around, and it was already going so fast and I wanted it all to slow down!! Lol. And next thing I know... boom... 13."

In the song she sings, "One step at a time, no need to rush/ Let’s keep this time for us/ And make it last long as we can/ It’s already going too fast." Lopez's fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, also paid homage, posting a series of snaps with the kids and writing, "I'm blessed to have both of you in my life and look forward to watching you both continue to grow and do amazing things!"
