Fifth Harmony attends the "The X Factor" season finale in Los Angeles on Dec. 19, 2012.

Before shining under the spotlight at hundreds of venues across the globe, some boy bands and girl groups first stepped out together on reality singing competition series. From One Direction to Fifth Harmony, Billboard wants to know which TV-based pop band is your favorite!

What makes 1D beautiful is perhaps the fact that Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik all serendipitously auditioned for X Factor (U.K.) as solo singers in 2010. Thankfully, Simon Cowell saw their potential as a boy band, and they went on to release five hit albums (with 29 songs on the Billboard Hot 100) and amass millions of fans all over the globe.

Then in 2012, Cowell brought together Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui as 5H after all five women auditioned for X Factor (U.S.) as solo artists. Fifth Harmony proved that they were "Worth It" by releasing two hit albums, known for Hot 100-charting songs like "BO$$," and everyone's favorite quarantine anthem "Work From Home."

So which pop group from reality TV history is going down in history as your favorite? Vote below!
