If 2021 isn't quite going the way you'd imagined so far, then Kelly Clarkson has a song for you to listen to -- or rather, a performance of LP's phenomenal single "Lost on You" for her latest Kellyoke cover.
On Tuesday's (Jan. 12) edition of The Kelly Clarkson Show's popular cover series, Clarkson took to her dimly lit stage, dressed in a simple striped top with a pair of beige bib overalls, to deliver a soulful rendition of LP's universally beloved single off of her 2016 album of the same name.
The inaugural American Idol winner chose not to imitate LP's fascinating raspy vocals. Instead, Clarkson embraced her award-winning belt as she wailed through the tender, Western-twinged single, pining for a lost love that simply isn't there anymore. "Let's raise a glass or two/ To all the things I've lost on you," she sang on the song's chorus. "Just that you could cut me loose/ After everything I've lost on you/ Is that lost on you?"
