"Definitely not where I thought I'd be currently, but also not mad at it," she continued. "I'm very, very lucky to have had this year play out the way it did because for a lot of people, it was literal hell and I am very aware that I've been very blessed for the fortune I had this year."
A year ago, Eilish also asked for 100 days off. "B----, you got what you wished for! You happy? Because damn," she shared in 2020. "This is the most amount of time off that I've had in five years."
As for what she accomplished this year, besides her obvious career successes, Eilish also reflected on how much she has grown in caring for other people. "We went to tons of protests, we fought for people," she shared. "That was a big thing this year too, huge accomplishment. We will never stop fighting. I will never stop fighting for you Breonna, I will never stop fighting for all the black and brown people who have lost their lives to police brutality and literally just racism. I'll never stop fighting for you ever, ever, ever."
Finally, Eilish fired back at online body-shamers who slammed her for running errands in a tank top in October. "There’s this picture of me like, running from my car to my brother’s front door on like a 110 degree day in a tank top. And people were like, ‘Damn, Billie got fat!' And I’m like, 'Nope, this is how I look, you’ve just never seen it before!' So that’s the most current one, but whatever," she said.
When asked if she thinks her "messaging on body image" has had a positive impact, Eilish had the best response. "I love having kids relate to me and tell me that I make them feel comfortable in their bodies," she said. "If I can do anything, I want to do that."
