Ariana Grande Celebrates Hot 100 No. 1 Debut for 'Positions,' Urges Fans 'Pls Vote for Biden'

Ariana Grande is honored to land her latest No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Positions" this week (chart dated Nov. 7). The lead single from her sixth album of the same name also became the first song to simultaneously reign atop the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.

"Thank u so so much and congratulations to the most incredible team @tbhits @amnija_ @londonondatrack @official.mrfranks," she wrote via Instagram on Monday (Nov. 2), while quickly switching the focus toward Tuesday's election. "This is such an honor pls vote for biden."

City Girls' JT, Victoria Monét and her "Positions" teammates Nija Charles and Tommy "TBHits" Brown congratulated her on her latest musical milestone. Grande also shared the Billboard Charts Twitter update and thanked "everyone for showing this song so much love."

"Positions" is Grande's fifth single to reach the No. 1 position on the Hot 100,and the third single to achieve the feat this year, following her "Stuck with U" collab with Justin Bieber and her "Rain On Me" collab with Lady Gaga.
