The 20-year-old rising star also unveils her heartbroken new single 'Never the 1.'

Rising singer-songwriter Rosie will be joining the roster at Arista Records, Billboard can exclusively announce on Friday (Oct. 30).

"After 5 minutes on the phone with David Massey, my decision of who to sign to immediately became clear," Rosie tells Billboard of the signing in a statement. "I thought, 'What other president can hold a conversation about the synchronicities of the universe, astrology, and psychic dreams?'

"I’m so excited to be part of the Arista family because of their hardworking and energetic team, and their commitment to supporting me as an artist while making sure I stay true to my vision, my beliefs, and my passion for music," she adds.

To coincide with the news, Rosie has also unveiled a new single, "Never the 1." On the track, the 20-year-old Nyack, New York native cleverly laments the bitter end of a faded romance.

"Now I could write ten songs 'bout nine ways you f--ked me over/ Only took you eight days to forget seven months together/ We were up till six in the mornin'/ Five days a week, you said forever then left/ Before I counted to three, loved you/ A little bit too much, but I was/ Never the 1," she croons on the chorus over hummed a capella harmonies.

The break-up track follows the viral success of "Retail Therapy," Rosie's unreleased track that's garnered more than 700,000 plays on TikTok and counting, as well as her self-released 2019 singles "Forget Your Name" and "Nostalgic."
