Everything in canceled. That's what it's felt like for the past six months as the COVID-19 pandemic has taken away concerts, movies, plays, school, camp, you name it. And with the holidays just around the corner, what's next? Well, for a little while on Monday (Sept. 21) Mariah Carey put a scare into her 21.5 million Twitter followers by tweeting "THANKSGIVING IS CANCELLED."
Wait, what? With Halloween already up in the air for much of the country as medical experts predict that the coronavirus could get super-charged again as flu season unfolds for a "twindemic," Carey's tweet sent a shiver through the Lambily. She followed up with a series of all-cap posts that didn't make things any better.
