"It's not easy some days, but knowing 'it’s ok not to be ok' has truly helped me with this," the pop star responded to a fan who asked about motivating yourself even during the rough patches. "You have good days... and a couple bad days in between. We can’t stress ourselves with trying to be perfect. Love you too!"
Lovato and Marshmello dropped "OK Not To Be OK" last Thursday (Sept. 10) on World Suicide Prevention Day, which speaks to the toll our negative thoughts take on us, but how we're feeling the same pressure and need a cathartic dance break.
"I’ve been using this time to dive head first into music. i’ve written more music now than ever before," the smiley-faced DJ responded to a fan who asked about the COVID-19 pandemic has affected their creativity. "Now I don’t know how good the music is… but there is a lot of it."
