Paris Hilton spoke to Andy Cohen this week on his SirusXM channel Radio Andy, revealing that she hung out with Britney Spears in Malibu recently and that the old pals rekindled their two-decade-old friendship.

"I saw her this summer. We've had dinners, I saw her in Malibu," Hilton said of the singer, who has been keeping a relatively low profile during the pandemic in between goofy dancing videos and snaps with her boyfriend Sam Asghari at the beach.

Cohen also brought up the serious subject of Spears' conservatorship, which has been in the news lately amid reports that the singer wants to remove her father as the conservator of her estate, a position he's held for 12 years.

"I just love her so much and I feel like if you are an adult you should be able to live your life and not be controlled," said Hilton about whether the 39-year-old "Mood Ring" star should have more autonomy over her affairs.

"I think that maybe stems from me being controlled so much so I can understand how that would feel and I can't imagine right now if that was still happening to me," she continued. "After just working your whole life and working so hard, she's this icon and I just feel like she has no control of her life whatsoever and I just don't think that's fair."

Hilton said that the pair meet up with a "small group of friends" for their hangouts, which are super casual, fun affairs where she prefers to keep weighty topics like the conservatorship off the table.

"She is so sweet and so innocent and such a nice girl. We just talk about happy things. Music, fashion… fun things," said Hilton, 39, who is the subject of a new YouTube documentary, This is Paris, in which she reveals the physical and emotional abuse she suffered at a boarding school for troubled teens.

"I never like to bring up negative things and make people feel uncomfortable so I've never talked about it with her."
