This week's new music releases gave us reasons to smile, one of those being the promise of delicious ice cream to beat the summer heat.
Selena Gomez and Blackpink gave Selenators and Blinks the ultimate sugar high with their "Ice Cream" single and candy-colored accompanying visual and somehow cooled them off with one of the hottest pop collaborations of 2020. While their fan bases all scream for ice cream, Katy Perry's KatyCats had the biggest Smile on their faces when the pop star delivered her highly anticipated album -- the same week she delivered her first daughter Daisy Bloom.
But the list of new music is not "Over Now," according to Calvin Harris and The Weeknd's new slinky R&B collaboration with funk flourishes that are so smooth listeners might forget the blunt breakup message behind it. And Dua Lipa and The Blessed Madonna packed the carefree club quarantine bangers into the official Club Future Nostalgia remix album, which will get people's blood pumping whether they're working out to the new tracks or dancing to them at home.
