The 2020 Billboard Music Awards got the green light to come back this year on Oct. 14 after being postponed due to coronavirus. So who should perform?
Garth Brooks will receive the Icon Award at this year's ceremony, and the 19-time BBMA winner will deliver a performance. It would be amazing to see artists who scored their first No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 in the last year show off those chart-toppers on the Billboard stage, including DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Selena Gomez, Kid Cudi and Harry Styles. Nicki Minaj also makes this list, but her pregnancy thus far hasn't been easy and it's unclear when her due date is.
But with some of the biggest pop stars such as Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus ushering fans into their newest disco-infused dance eras, this would be the perfect night to bring their worlds of Chromatica, Future Nostalgia and She is Miley Cyrus, respectively, to life.
