Katy Perry unveiled the Smile track "What Makes A Woman" on Thursday (Aug. 20).

The track was produced by Johan Carlsson, and co-produced by Elvira Anderfjärd, and is available now along with a stripped-down version.

The pregnant pop star previously called into a Lebanese radio station to reveal that "What Makes a Woman" is dedicated to her unborn child."There is a song on the record called 'What Makes a Woman,'" Perry dished to NRJ Lebanon in June. "That is a hope I have for my future child, is that she doesn't have any limits on any of her dreams, or what she wants to be, or who she thinks she is. And, you know, she can change whenever she wants. She doesn't have to...she can try everything on if she wants; figure out what fits. And so I think that song is important to me and important for her."

Smile will serve as Perry's first full-length release since 2017's Witness. Preceded by hopeful ballad "Daisies" as its lead single, KP5 is slated to hit retailers on Aug. 28 via Capitol Records.
