A couple from the U.K. had an unexpected guest at their recent virtual wedding: Ellie Goulding, with her guitar in hand.

Goulding stunned newlyweds Hayley Pitman and Harvey Skelton by dropping in on their live-streaming ceremony to perform "Love Me Like You Do" as they shared their first dance.

"Congratulations, Harvey and Haley," she popped in to say before serenading them with her song. "You're both heroes and we all love you."

The event -- and the big surprise -- was organized by For Better For Worse for Hayley, who is a frontline National Health Service worker. According to the clip's YouTube caption, "Love Me Like You Do" was meant to be the song Hayley walked down the aisle to.

The Daily Mail reports that the couple's original wedding plans were scheduled for last weekend, but the event was postponed -- and rearranged to take place online -- due to the coronavirus pandemic.
